Bees foraging for water from a flower pot, set on my back deck. I prepare two pots there so that bees would not go foraging for water from the neighbor's swimming pool. Bees use water to either dilute honey for feeding the larvae, or for evaporative cooling of the hive during summer time.

A honey bee foraging on witchhazel flowers (Hamamelis virginiana, Hamamelidaceae). I rarely see bees forage on this flower but Spring of 2005 I got lucky.... not too many of them, perhaps only because not too many competition during April.
